Clinical Operations Specialist – Pune, Maharashtra, India

Job Summary:

Syneos Health, a global leader in biopharmaceutical solutions, is hiring a Clinical Operations Specialist in Pune to support the execution and success of clinical research studies. In this role, you will safeguard patient safety, maintain regulatory compliance, and support cross-functional teams throughout the clinical trial lifecycle. Ideal for professionals with at least 2 years of experience in clinical operations or related functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the wellbeing and safety of clinical trial participants during medical procedures

  • Execute and review study protocols in compliance with GCP and global regulatory standards

  • Recruit and maintain communication with trial subjects and clinical volunteers

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to prepare essential study documents (ICFs, manuals, SOPs)

  • Monitor trial operations and identify or resolve issues promptly

  • Support organizational operations and perform routine clinical tasks

  • Maintain accurate documentation and adapt processes to meet compliance standards

  • Apply operational systems knowledge to streamline procedures and enhance trial execution


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical operations or related healthcare field

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinical trial software

  • Solid understanding of clinical research protocols and ICH-GCP guidelines

  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple study activities


Certifications Preferred:

  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or equivalent

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
