Position Overview
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I to join our Dallas team. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and compliant handling, preparation, and dispensing of investigational products in Phase 1 clinical trials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, regulatory-compliant, and passionate about contributing to clinical research in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with sponsors to ensure pharmacy operations meet study requirements and timelines.
Review and contribute to study protocols, pharmacy manuals, and preparation documentation.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and Good Dispensing Practices (GDP).
Oversee pharmacy equipment, inventory, and routine preparation activities.
Support sponsor audits and site visits, maintaining strong professional relationships.
Collaborate with clinical research teams to ensure study integrity and patient safety.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth trial operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Registered Pharmacist or PharmD in the applicable state.
Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience, hospital or clinical research setting preferred.
Knowledge of GxP standards (GMP, GCP) and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven clinical research environment.
Work Environment
Laboratory and clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment and biological fluids.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) required: eyewear, garments, gloves.
Occasional travel to site locations.
Physical demands include sitting or standing 6–8 hours/day, repetitive hand movements, bending, twisting, and light to moderate lifting (up to 15–20 lbs).
Flexible hours may be required to meet clinical study timelines.
