Position Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I to join our Dallas team. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and compliant handling, preparation, and dispensing of investigational products in Phase 1 clinical trials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, regulatory-compliant, and passionate about contributing to clinical research in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sponsors to ensure pharmacy operations meet study requirements and timelines.

  • Review and contribute to study protocols, pharmacy manuals, and preparation documentation.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and Good Dispensing Practices (GDP).

  • Oversee pharmacy equipment, inventory, and routine preparation activities.

  • Support sponsor audits and site visits, maintaining strong professional relationships.

  • Collaborate with clinical research teams to ensure study integrity and patient safety.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support smooth trial operations.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Registered Pharmacist or PharmD in the applicable state.

  • Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience, hospital or clinical research setting preferred.

  • Knowledge of GxP standards (GMP, GCP) and regulatory compliance.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven clinical research environment.


Work Environment

  • Laboratory and clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment and biological fluids.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) required: eyewear, garments, gloves.

  • Occasional travel to site locations.

  • Physical demands include sitting or standing 6–8 hours/day, repetitive hand movements, bending, twisting, and light to moderate lifting (up to 15–20 lbs).

  • Flexible hours may be required to meet clinical study timelines.
