Role Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Research Physician to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. This on-site role focuses on early-phase clinical research and involves overseeing clinical evaluations of both healthy volunteers and patients. You will ensure subject safety, protocol compliance, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive study success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.

  • Review laboratory results, eligibility criteria, and monitor safety parameters.

  • Oversee study conduct and ensure adherence to protocols.

  • Prescribe and manage administration of study medications.

  • Assist in venous access, sample collection, and safety assessments.

  • Monitor for adverse events and take timely action based on clinical judgment.

  • Complete case report forms and present findings in clinical meetings.

  • Collaborate with nursing staff, sponsors, and project stakeholders.

  • Engage in protocol development, ethics committee discussions, and study reporting.

  • Stay current on medical research trends and best practices.

  • Contribute to staff training and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD/DO or equivalent) with active licensure.

  • Kansas State Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one).

  • Preferred background in Internal or Family Medicine (other specialties considered).

  • Understanding or willingness to learn ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong clinical judgment, with sound decision-making capabilities.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

  • Full-time on-site presence required in Lenexa, KS.
