Role Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Research Physician to join our team in Lenexa, Kansas. This on-site role focuses on early-phase clinical research and involves overseeing clinical evaluations of both healthy volunteers and patients. You will ensure subject safety, protocol compliance, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive study success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
Review laboratory results, eligibility criteria, and monitor safety parameters.
Oversee study conduct and ensure adherence to protocols.
Prescribe and manage administration of study medications.
Assist in venous access, sample collection, and safety assessments.
Monitor for adverse events and take timely action based on clinical judgment.
Complete case report forms and present findings in clinical meetings.
Collaborate with nursing staff, sponsors, and project stakeholders.
Engage in protocol development, ethics committee discussions, and study reporting.
Stay current on medical research trends and best practices.
Contribute to staff training and development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Medical Degree (MD/DO or equivalent) with active licensure.
Kansas State Medical License (or eligibility to obtain one).
Preferred background in Internal or Family Medicine (other specialties considered).
Understanding or willingness to learn ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
Strong clinical judgment, with sound decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Full-time on-site presence required in Lenexa, KS.
