Position Overview

Omega Healthcare is hiring Coding Trainees for its medical coding operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers and early-career professionals looking to build a career in the healthcare revenue cycle and medical coding domain.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Learning

  • Participate in structured medical coding training programs.
  • Learn coding guidelines, healthcare workflows, and medical documentation standards.
  • Develop knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes and coding compliance requirements.
  • Understand US healthcare systems and coding protocols.

Medical Coding Support

  • Review patient charts, diagnosis reports, and clinical documentation.
  • Assist in assigning appropriate medical codes under supervision.
  • Support coding accuracy and compliance with coding standards.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain training progress records and assigned task documentation.
  • Support operational reporting and workflow updates as required.
