Role Overview

Syngene is seeking a senior, strategic, and hands-on professional to lead corporate content strategy as Sr. Lead / Head – Content. This role is based at our Corporate HQ in Bengaluru and focuses on developing high-impact narratives across internal and external communications channels. The position requires a mix of strategic thinking, content curation, and execution to enhance corporate reputation, engage stakeholders, and amplify organizational narratives.


Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Development:

  • Devise and implement the corporate content strategy aligned with organizational goals.

  • Plan, create, and oversee content across multiple channels including newsletters, emailers, podcasts, video series, intranet, social media, case studies, white papers, and annual reports.

  • Produce thought leadership articles, opinion pieces, and client success stories to enhance brand credibility and stakeholder engagement.

  • Develop content pipelines and cultivate content champions across business units to ensure idea generation and high-quality output.

  • Create content for crisis management and corporate communications as required.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Partner with internal functions such as Marketing, HR, ESG, Finance, Quality, Government Affairs to produce consistent, high-quality content.

  • Lead engagements with content and event agencies, both domestic and international, for campaign execution and storytelling initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and brand guidelines.

Execution & Impact Measurement:

  • Oversee content implementation across traditional and digital platforms, monitoring impact and engagement.

  • Ensure all content initiatives are timely, accurate, and aligned with organizational priorities.

  • Champion continuous improvement in content processes, quality, and creative approaches.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Degree in Communications, Journalism, Literature, or related field.

  • Experience: 8–12 years in corporate communications, internal communications, or content management within reputed organizations or media houses.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns, including digital and traditional media.

  • Strong project management, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work hands-on while providing strategic direction.
