Role Overview
Roche is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst – Patient Analytics to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic, data-informed business decisions. This role requires expertise in analytics, automation, data troubleshooting, and proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools. The role is based in Hyderabad or Chennai and will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize data-driven processes and support Roche’s patient-focused mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze Patient, Claims, and LAAD datasets to identify trends and deliver actionable insights for business and operational teams.

  • Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to ensure accurate and relevant information for analytics and development projects.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and overall business performance.

  • Build advanced statistical and predictive models using analytics tools and programming languages (Python, PySpark).

  • Develop qualitative and quantitative reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

  • Present data-driven findings to business leaders in a structured and impactful manner.

  • Capture and validate data requirements, ensuring timely delivery of actionable, reliable information.

  • Prepare recommendations for process improvements and support strategic decision-making with analytics insights.

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in data analysis or business analytics operations, preferably within the Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, or Biotechnology industry.

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools; practical experience in Python or PySpark.

  • Strong understanding of Pharma datasets including Patient Data, Claims Data, and LAAD Data; hands-on experience in Patient Analytics or Claims Analytics is a plus.

  • Proven ability to convert complex data into actionable business insights, improve operational efficiency, and drive data-informed decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and deliver high-quality results under minimal supervision.
