Job Overview

Piramal Critical Care (PCC), a subsidiary of Piramal Pharma Limited (PPL), is seeking a dedicated Executive – IPQA to support in-process quality assurance operations for its manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring GMP compliance, batch documentation integrity, and quality control activities across production, warehouse, and vendor operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in BMR, BFR, BPR review, in-process QA, and IPQA functions.


Key Responsibilities

Production & IPQA Support

  • Conduct line clearance for production operations prior to batch initiation.

  • Review Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Formula Records (BFR), and Batch Production Records (BPR) for accuracy and compliance.

  • Perform in-process QA functions and control sample management.

  • Collect and document in-process, finished product, and customer samples as per SOPs.

  • Participate in process validation, hold time studies, and batch release coordination.

Quality Compliance & Documentation

  • Compile Annual Product Quality Review (APQR) data with trend analysis to support regulatory submissions.

  • Conduct routine GMP verification across production, warehouse, and other departments.

  • Coordinate and review vendor management documents, and compile vendor assessment reports.

  • Manage document archival, issuance, and control of formats, SOPs, specifications, and batch records.


Qualifications & Experience

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, or Pharmacy.

Professional Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in in-process QA, IPQA, or pharmaceutical quality operations.

  • Strong knowledge of BMR/BFR/BPR review, GMP, and production QA processes.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Thorough understanding of cGMP and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate across multiple departments.

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
