Job Overview
Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS) is seeking a motivated Executive – Production (Peptides) to support peptide manufacturing operations in a GMP-compliant environment. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build hands-on expertise in peptide synthesis, purification, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. The position offers structured training, exposure to advanced peptide technologies, and opportunities to grow within a global CDMO environment.
Key Responsibilities
Peptide Production & Operations
Understand, follow, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for peptide synthesis and production activities.
Assist in the preparation of reagents, buffers, solutions, and equipment required for peptide manufacturing.
Execute peptide synthesis operations under the guidance of senior production personnel.
Learn and perform peptide purification techniques, including HPLC, chromatography, and filtration processes.
GMP, Documentation & Compliance
Adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and quality standards.
Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed production records, logbooks, and batch documentation.
Compile production data and support the preparation of manufacturing and performance reports.
Equipment & Process Support
Learn to operate, monitor, and maintain peptide production equipment.
Promptly report equipment malfunctions, deviations, or abnormal observations to supervisors.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, quality, and safety.
Collaboration & Learning
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Actively participate in training programs, safety briefings, and professional development initiatives.
Provide constructive feedback to improve procedures and manufacturing practices.
Education & Experience Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
Experience
0 to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, peptide manufacturing, API manufacturing, or a related laboratory/manufacturing environment.
Fresh graduates with strong academic background and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of peptide synthesis and purification principles is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and compliance.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, GMP-regulated environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to learn, adapt to new processes, and work in shifts if required.
