Job Summary

The Field Manager – Technical (Ruminants) is responsible for providing technical support to the sales team, conducting product and animal health training, organizing scientific seminars for veterinarians and dairy farmers, supporting clinical trials, resolving technical customer issues, and strengthening customer relationships to drive business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to internal sales teams and external customers across the assigned territory.

  • Conduct on-site customer visits and provide telephonic technical assistance.

  • Execute technical service plans aligned with organizational goals.

  • Organize technical meetings, seminars, and awareness programs for veterinarians and dairy farmers.

  • Deliver technical training to Area Field Managers (AFMs) and sales teams.

  • Stay updated on the latest developments in the ruminant and animal health industry.

  • Supervise local clinical trials and market support studies under the guidance of the National Technical Manager.

  • Develop and provide technical materials to support sales activities.

  • Offer techno-commercial solutions while interacting with customers.

  • Collaborate with veterinary colleges and educational institutions to strengthen the company's scientific presence.

  • Handle technical complaints and provide timely solutions.

  • Support additional business improvement initiatives as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.).

  • M.V.Sc. will be preferred.

  • 2–3 years of relevant field experience in animal health or veterinary pharmaceutical industry.

  • Strong understanding of ruminant health and disease management.

Estimated Salary Package (Market Standard)

  • Fixed CTC: ₹7 LPA – ₹11 LPA

  • Performance Incentives/Bonus: ₹1 LPA – ₹2.5 LPA

  • Total Expected Package: ₹8 LPA – ₹13.5 LPA (depending on experience, qualifications, and current compensation)
