Position Overview:

The General Manager, Operations will oversee the daily operations of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. This position has full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility and requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The General Manager will be responsible for leading teams and driving growth and innovation within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Operational Management:

Lead and manage all operations within the factory, including supply chain (procurement to planning), production, maintenance/engineering, validation, technical services, and operational excellence teams.
Oversee day-to-day operations with full responsibility for the P&L of both sterile and non-sterile operations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and high-quality standards.

2. Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business goals and growth targets, including leading site-specific initiatives and investment projects.
Contribute to the development and execution of the site’s capital investment budget.

3. Quality and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, TPP, European regulations) by developing and implementing quality improvement plans.
Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to maintain product quality and ensure regulatory compliance.

4. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external customers to identify new opportunities for growth.
Contribute to the North American CMO leadership group, driving customer satisfaction and overall business success.

5. Staff Development and Leadership:

Promote employee growth and development by providing feedback during evaluations and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
Lead a site-specific leadership committee composed of functional leaders from various departments.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
Experience in customer service and client relationship management is highly desirable.
