Role Overview

ICON is seeking a Clinical Document Specialist to support the technical preparation, production, publishing, and management of clinical submission documents. The role involves ensuring documents meet client formatting, quality, regulatory, and electronic submission requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual and compound clinical submission documents.

  • Ensure documents meet client standards for formatting, quality, timeliness, and submission readiness.

  • Publish documents using industry-standard publishing tools.

  • Perform hyperlinking, bookmarking, and submission-ready formatting.

  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, legibility, and compliance with electronic submission standards.

  • Manage documents within submission repositories according to quality standards.

  • Independently plan and execute assigned activities.

  • Collaborate with clinical authoring teams and other stakeholders.

Eligibility & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant scientific or healthcare-related discipline.

  • Experience: 1–3 years in document production, publishing, or similar operations roles.

  • Knowledge of Health Authority and industry regulations/guidelines relevant to submissions.

  • Experience with publishing software and electronic document management systems.

  • Knowledge of intra- and inter-document linking.

  • Strong MS Word/MS Office and Adobe Acrobat skills.

  • Experience working with templates and complex document formats.

  • Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
