Job Overview
ProPharma is hiring Health and Safety Call Center Associates to support product safety and pharmacovigilance-related call handling. This role involves managing inbound health and safety calls, documenting adverse events, providing first-level product safety information, and escalating cases as per defined safety protocols. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive medical information with accuracy and professionalism.

Job Location & Work Model

  • Work Type: Remote

  • Shift Requirement: Rotating shifts (primarily second shift US hours)

  • Includes: Rotational weekends and some holidays

  • Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls at the Health and Safety Call Center involving human and animal cases

  • Collect and document caller demographic information accurately

  • Record adverse event and product safety information in the safety database

  • Provide basic product safety and first-aid information as per client guidelines (no diagnostic or treatment advice)

  • Follow up with callers to ensure resolution of safety concerns

  • Identify and escalate cases requiring review by senior staff or toxicologists

  • Notify Lead Toxicologist as per escalation protocols

  • Monitor and identify trends related to product safety issues

  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all calls

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements

  • Participate in continuing education and training programs

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Excellent telephone etiquette with active listening ability

  • Ability to explain complex medical information in simple terms

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Basic computer literacy and keyboarding skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive and high-pressure situations professionally

Educational & Professional Requirements

  • Required: EMT, Paramedic, Veterinary Technician, or equivalent qualification

  • Alternatively: Current student pursuing an advanced medical degree

  • Preferred: Relevant certification or professional license (as applicable)

Experience Requirements

  • Freshers: Eligible if meeting educational/medical training requirements

  • Prior experience in healthcare, emergency response, or clinical support roles is an advantage
