Job Overview
GE HealthCare is seeking an Intra-Operative Clinical Application Specialist to support advanced visualization and ultrasound solutions through clinical demonstrations, product training, and post-sales support. This customer-facing role focuses on delivering clinical expertise, supporting healthcare professionals, and driving market adoption through educational initiatives, outreach programs, and strategic stakeholder engagement.

The position involves collaboration with sales and product teams to enhance clinical value delivery, provide technical training, and expand product utilization across healthcare institutions. This role is suited for professionals with experience in ultrasound technology, surgical care environments, or clinical application support.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support and Product Demonstration

  • Provide clinical expertise and value-based demonstrations of ultrasound solutions across specialties including neurosurgery, urology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and pelvic floor procedures.

  • Demonstrate product functionality and clinical capabilities to healthcare professionals and purchasing stakeholders.

  • Support product installations and deliver post-sale clinical training to medical teams and operating room staff.

  • Assist healthcare professionals in clinical setup and system usage.

Training and Education

  • Develop and execute clinical training programs for customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Conduct periodic training sessions to ensure optimal product utilization and system performance.

  • Create training materials in compliance with organizational guidelines.

  • Monitor system usage and maintain training records.

Market Development and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify and support opportunities for market growth through workshops, exhibitions, courses, and outreach activities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and decision-makers.

  • Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within assigned markets.

  • Collaborate with product managers and sales teams to define clinical strategies and training requirements.

Business and Territory Management

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of product portfolio, market trends, and regional business strategies.

  • Support opportunity creation and contribute to sales growth within assigned territories.

  • Execute business objectives based on regional market needs and organizational strategy.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ultrasound technology, medical imaging, or surgical care environments.

  • Experience in clinical application support or medical device training preferred.

  • Experience in healthcare technology implementation or customer-facing clinical roles is advantageous.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related scientific discipline.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and clinical imaging applications for diagnosis and treatment.

  • Knowledge of ultrasound technology and clinical workflows in surgical settings.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to plan, document, and execute clinical training programs.

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Willingness to travel up to 60%, including overnight travel based on business requirements.

Work Environment and Expectations
