Job Overview
The Intra-Operative Clinical Application Specialist is a customer-facing role responsible for demonstrating product capabilities, delivering clinical training, and supporting market development initiatives. The role involves post-sales clinical support, training healthcare professionals, and collaborating with sales and product teams to drive adoption of advanced visualization and ultrasound solutions. The position requires engagement with targeted clients and regional stakeholders to support business growth and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and value-based demonstrations of ultrasound solutions across specialties including Neurosurgery, Urology, Hepato-Biliary, Colorectal, and Pelvic Floor procedures.

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of product lines, sales territories, markets, and sales processes to execute regional business strategies.

  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to design clinical strategies and identify training requirements.

  • Deliver post-sales support including installation assistance and clinical training for healthcare professionals.

  • Conduct high-level product demonstrations and build strong relationships with key stakeholders involved in purchasing decisions.

  • Execute clinical training programs for existing installations and organize periodic training sessions for operating room staff and relevant stakeholders.

  • Monitor system usage and maintain accurate documentation and performance records.

  • Identify growth opportunities and organize educational initiatives such as workshops, courses, exhibitions, and roadshows.

  • Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within regional markets and support educational collaborations.

  • Develop training materials aligned with organizational and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in ultrasound technology, medical imaging, or surgical care environments.

  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and clinical imaging applications for diagnosis and treatment.

  • Technical or clinical experience in ultrasound systems, including relevant certifications where applicable.

  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within and outside assigned regions based on business requirements.
