About the Role
VEE Healthtek is seeking experienced ED Quality Analysts to join our US healthcare medical coding team. In this role, you will ensure coding quality and accuracy, maintain compliance with client standards, and support process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Review and validate ED coding for accuracy and compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and DRG standards.
Identify coding discrepancies, provide corrective guidance, and maintain high-quality coding standards.
Collaborate with coders, senior coders, and team leads to ensure consistent quality and performance.
Monitor productivity and quality metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
Support continuous process improvement initiatives within the coding team.
Prepare reports and dashboards highlighting coding quality trends and areas for improvement.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
3–6 years of experience in ED medical coding quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of US healthcare coding standards (ICD-10-CM, CPT, DRG).
Graduate degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, or related field.
CPC or COC certification preferred.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain compliance and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience in QA of ED facility coding.
Familiarity with US healthcare compliance and clinical documentation standards.
Ability to mentor coders and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
