About the Role
VEE Healthtek is seeking experienced IP DRG Medical Coders to join our US healthcare coding teams across multiple locations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a structured, growth-oriented environment where coding expertise, accuracy, and compliance are key. Candidates will handle day-to-day coding operations, support quality assurance, and ensure adherence to client-specific standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform IP DRG coding of patient records following ICD-10-CM, CPT, and DRG standards.
Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of assignments.
Participate in QA and validation processes for coded charts.
Maintain productivity and quality metrics as per SLA requirements.
Implement feedback from managers to improve performance.
Assist in process improvement initiatives and support knowledge sharing within the team.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
1–6 years of experience in IP DRG medical coding.
Strong knowledge of US healthcare coding standards (ICD-10-CM, CPT, DRG).
Graduate degree in Life Sciences, Medical Sciences, or related field.
CPC / COC certification preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining quality.
Preferred Skills
Experience in QA or senior coder roles.
Familiarity with clinical documentation and US healthcare compliance standards.
Ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently.
