Role Overview
The Key Account Manager – Futura Division will be responsible for driving pharmaceutical product sales within the assigned territory in Indore. The role focuses on building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, retail chemists, and distributors while implementing strategic promotional activities to achieve territory sales targets.

The position requires strong field engagement, market intelligence gathering, and effective territory management to ensure product availability and prescription growth.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Sales Management

  • Achieve territory-wise sales targets through effective planning and execution of sales strategies.

  • Manage the assigned geographical territory and ensure consistent business growth.

Doctor Engagement and Product Promotion

  • Conduct regular doctor visits to promote pharmaceutical products and provide detailed product information.

  • Address queries from healthcare professionals and build strong professional relationships to support prescription generation.

Chemist and Pharmacy Relationship Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with retail chemists to ensure product availability and visibility.

  • Support pharmacy partners in maintaining adequate stock levels and promoting product awareness.

Retail Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA)

  • Conduct prescription audits to analyze prescribing patterns and gather competitive market intelligence.

  • Use insights from RCPA to improve sales strategies and product positioning.

Distributor Coordination

  • Work closely with distributors to ensure timely supply of products within the territory.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock shortages.

Market and Competition Analysis

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives.

  • Provide regular market feedback to management to support strategic decision-making.

Sales Reporting and Data Management

  • Record daily field activities, doctor visits, and sales updates through the assigned online reporting system.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities and territory performance metrics.

Coverage and Field Productivity

  • Maintain required call average, doctor coverage, and frequency norms for the assigned territory.

  • Plan field visits strategically to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, medical representative roles, or territory sales management.

  • Experience working with doctors, chemists, and distributors within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
