JOB OVERVIEW

Parexel is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations to lead and oversee Clinical Operations teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery, resource management, talent development, client engagement, and operational excellence. This is a leadership role requiring strong clinical research expertise, people management skills, and the ability to drive project success in a global CRO environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Delivery Management

  • Monitor team performance and project deliverables.

  • Ensure all project documentation and communications are accurate and complete.

  • Act as a senior project team member when required.

  • Prepare study status reports for sponsors and management.

  • Participate in project meetings and provide operational guidance.

  • Support projects in meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Resource Planning & Team Management

  • Develop and manage project resourcing plans.

  • Allocate staff according to project requirements and skillsets.

  • Monitor resource utilization and forecast future needs.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing for all assigned projects.

  • Manage quality control and delivery efficiency.

• Clinical Operations Leadership

  • Provide technical and operational guidance to team members.

  • Ensure adherence to Clinical Operations standards and best practices.

  • Support project teams with clinical expertise and consultation.

  • Act as liaison between project teams, sponsors, and management.

• Performance & Talent Management

  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing staff.

  • Conduct mentoring, coaching, and training activities.

  • Support employee career development plans.

  • Participate in performance reviews and compensation processes.

  • Ensure achievement of productivity and quality metrics.

• Client Management & Business Development

  • Support client relationship management activities.

  • Participate in proposal development and bid defenses.

  • Attend client meetings and presentations.

  • Respond to client feedback and implement improvements.

  • Contribute to business growth initiatives.

• Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Drive departmental and organizational process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • ICH Guidelines

    • Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

    • Regulatory Requirements

    • Parexel SOPs

    • Sponsor SOPs

  • Maintain inspection and audit readiness.

• Operational Excellence

  • Promote teamwork and collaboration.

  • Maintain productivity and billability targets.

  • Complete administrative responsibilities on time.

  • Participate in leadership and management meetings.

  • Serve as a role model within the organization.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced Degree (M.Pharm, MSc, PharmD, MBBS, MD)

  • Clinical Research Certifications (Preferred)
