Job Summary
ICON plc, a global leader in clinical research and healthcare intelligence, is hiring a Manager, Pharmacovigilance to lead a high-performing global Drug Safety team. This remote role is ideal for experienced PV professionals with strong knowledge of Argus, GVP, ICH-GCP, and CFR regulations, ready to ensure the highest standards of case processing, compliance, and quality oversight. Key Responsibilities
Lead DSA teams responsible for adverse event (AE) and drug experience case management.
Oversee literature review, aggregate reporting, and risk management processes.
Ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations and internal SOPs.
Support audits, CAPAs, and inspection-readiness activities.
Drive efficiency through SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage resource planning, succession, performance development, and training.
Serve as PV liaison across business partners and intradepartmental teams.
Ensure compliance with safety data reconciliation and escalate issues as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, nursing, or pharmacy (required).
Minimum 6 years of pharmacovigilance experience; 1–2 years in a team leadership role.
Expertise in Argus Safety Database.
Strong knowledge of GVP, ICH-GCP, and CFR regulations.
Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (approx. 10%).
