Position Summary
The Manager, Programming Analytics Lead (PAL) is a key individual contributor responsible for managing reporting and analytics activities across multiple clinical studies and therapeutic areas.
This role serves as the primary liaison between clinical stakeholders and analytics teams, translating business requirements into reporting solutions, dashboards, visualizations, and data-driven insights using SAS, Qlik, SQL, and other analytics platforms.
The PAL is accountable for end-to-end report development, analytics delivery, stakeholder engagement, process compliance, and continuous improvement of clinical reporting solutions that support study monitoring, operational oversight, and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Reporting & Analytics
Serve as the primary analytics contact for multiple clinical studies.
Gather reporting and analytics requirements from clinical stakeholders.
Translate business needs into technical specifications.
Design and develop study-specific reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reporting outputs.
Report Development & Programming
Develop reports using:
SAS
Qlik
SQL / PLSQL
Elluminate Mapper
Leverage standard reports wherever possible.
Build customized analytics solutions for complex study requirements.
Apply a "First Time Right" approach to deliver high-quality outputs.
Data Visualization & Business Intelligence
Create meaningful visualizations and dashboards.
Support study monitoring through data-driven insights.
Develop operational and clinical performance metrics.
Present data in a user-friendly format for decision-making.
Stakeholder Management

Analyze clinical trial data holistically.
Support risk-based monitoring strategies.
Identify trends, risks, and potential data issues.
Contribute to patient safety oversight through analytics.
Process Compliance & Governance
Follow established development processes and SOPs.
Ensure documentation completeness.
Escalate compliance issues when identified.
Maintain audit-ready deliverables.
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with emerging analytics technologies.
Evaluate new reporting tools and methodologies.
Contribute to innovation and process optimization initiatives.
Support additional Clinical Data Review & Analytics (CDR&A) functions as needed.
