A leading global biopharmaceutical services organization, Syneos Health, is seeking an experienced Oncology Account Manager to drive territory performance and manage complex oncology accounts in Louisville, KY. This role is part of a nationwide commercial team focused on delivering life-changing and potentially life-saving therapies to patients with rare and oncology-related conditions.

The Oncology Account Manager will lead strategic account engagement, execute integrated territory business plans, and navigate complex healthcare systems to maximize product access and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through execution of a comprehensive territory business plan across key oncology accounts.

  • Identify and engage key influencers, decision-makers, and top target customers within assigned accounts.

  • Deliver current, data-driven clinical presentations to oncologists, hematologists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.

  • Manage complex sales processes across hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), and specialty oncology centers.

  • Develop strategic partnerships with Oncology C-suite executives, pharmacy leadership, population health stakeholders, and key account influencers.

  • Analyze market data, sales trends, and competitive insights to create actionable account strategies.

  • Optimize call frequency and territory coverage to maximize access and revenue opportunities.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial partners to align on access and growth strategies.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer structures, business drivers, access challenges, and evolving healthcare dynamics.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5+ years of biotech, pharmaceutical, biologic, or specialty sales experience.
    OR

  • 3+ years of high-science specialty experience with complex products.
    OR

  • Strong oncology device, diagnostics, or specialty pharmacy oncology experience.

  • Proven record of success in product launches and achievement of sales targets.

  • Demonstrated expertise in account-based selling and managing complex healthcare sales cycles.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS required).

  • Advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oncology or Hematology sales experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience engaging executive-level oncology stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate insights into territory action plans.
