Job Overview

A leading global biopharmaceutical services organization, Syneos Health, is seeking an experienced Patient Access Manager to lead patient access and reimbursement strategy initiatives within the Seattle territory. This strategic field-based leadership role focuses on launching and optimizing patient access programs for neuroscience products, driving reimbursement excellence, and ensuring high-performance execution by Patient Access Specialists.

This opportunity is ideal for senior professionals with deep expertise in reimbursement strategy, specialty pharmacy, CMS policies, and medical benefit access (Part B), particularly within complex therapeutic landscapes such as CNS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Patient Access Specialists to achieve and exceed regional business objectives.

  • Drive successful launch and execution of patient access initiatives for neuroscience products within the assigned territory.

  • Provide strategic direction on reimbursement education, benefits investigation, and prior authorization processes.

  • Guide the appropriate and compliant use of patient healthcare information (PHI) in access and reimbursement workflows.

  • Strengthen collaboration with healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure strict adherence to compliance standards, legal regulations, and CMS policy requirements.

  • Motivate district teams to maintain a customer-centric, solutions-driven approach.

  • Travel up to 75% (including overnight travel) within territory boundaries.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).

  • 8+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Reimbursement strategy

    • Contract strategy

    • Managed care sales

    • Medicare Part B / Medical benefit

    • Pharmaceutical or healthcare market access

  • Specialty pharmacy channel experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of CMS policies and processes.

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.

  • Must reside within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or related field).

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in field reimbursement or patient access management.

  • Experience within the CNS (Central Nervous System) therapeutic area.
