Job Overview
Novo Nordisk is hiring an experienced Process Manager – Process Excellence to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within its Finance GBS function. This role focuses on optimizing finance processes, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and leading transformation initiatives across global finance operations including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). The position plays a strategic role in enhancing service quality, governance, and efficiency across international operations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and strengthen relationships between Global Business Services (GBS) and regional affiliates, ensuring effective collaboration and service delivery. Lead monthly stakeholder discussions, prepare performance reports, and drive actionable improvements. Monitor ongoing operations, track performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to address process gaps and quality issues.

Drive KPI improvements and establish strong internal controls to enable consistent, high-quality finance operations. Provide regular insights and performance updates to senior leadership, including Finance Directors. Manage service quality surveys, analyze feedback trends, and implement improvement strategies.

Identify and lead process re-engineering, digital transformation, and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Oversee issue management logs and improve performance across key finance areas such as vendor payments, receivables, and payment failure analysis. Ensure adherence to compliance frameworks including internal controls and regulatory requirements. Promote best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement across finance operations while maintaining a strong focus on workplace safety and governance.

Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.

Experience Required:
10 to 15 years of experience in finance operations, process excellence, or transformation roles within a global organization.

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in finance process domains including P2P, O2C, R2R, Tax, and Treasury. In-depth understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Proven experience in process improvement, transformation initiatives, and automation projects. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership. Demonstrated Lean mindset and project management expertise.
