Job Title: Product Manager (Grade/Band: 2B)

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports To: Associate Director
  • Supervises: None

Job Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Independently manage brand responsibility for allocated brands.
  • Achieve top-line, market share, and bottom-line targets for assigned brands.
  • Collaborate effectively with creative agencies to develop differentiated and impactful brand campaigns.
  • Ensure timely delivery and execution of campaign collaterals, inputs, and activities to the field force.
  • Regularly analyze market conditions and forecast sales.
  • Monitor ROI on brand strategies.
  • Track competitor activities and conduct research to analyze customer behavior, perception, and design strategies.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and market research for new opportunities.
  • Develop and implement an Annual Operating Plan for the brand portfolio.
  • Capture insights through fieldwork.
  • Work with sales teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure buy-in and strong implementation of strategies.
  • Conduct CSM and other sales meetings to drive excitement and engagement.
  • Ensure effective coordination with other functional areas such as Medical, Training, Promo team, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Job Specifications:

  • Education: Graduate in Science/Pharmacy; MBA/PGDBA in Sales and Marketing from a Tier 1 B-school.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical product management experience (preferably in MNCs) as a brand manager.
    • Experience in managing Key Accounts and dealing with Key Opinion Leaders.
    • Experience in managing new product launches is preferable.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Strong knowledge of therapy areas owned and other therapies in the division.
    • Creativity, innovation, and drive for results.
    • Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
    • Analytical skills and financial acumen.
