Job Overview

Clario is seeking an experienced Director – Product Management to provide strategic leadership within its Platforms organization. This senior role is responsible for defining and executing the long-term product vision for scalable, secure, and interoperable clinical technology platforms that support global clinical trials and regulated healthcare environments.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of market insight, enterprise platform product management expertise, and cross-functional leadership, with the ability to translate customer and regulatory needs into differentiated, high-impact platform solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Strategy & Market Leadership

  • Define and execute market research and customer discovery initiatives to inform platform strategy

  • Analyze healthcare technology, data, and industry trends to guide platform investment and prioritization

  • Develop and maintain clear value propositions and business cases for platform capabilities

  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation

Product Roadmap & Lifecycle Management

  • Own and maintain platform product roadmaps aligned with Clario’s long-term strategic objectives

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure platform adoption, performance, and commercial impact

  • Manage the full product lifecycle from concept and development through launch, optimization, and retirement

  • Define business requirements, acceptance criteria, and release planning in partnership with technical teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Architecture, Engineering, R&D, UX, and Technical Product Managers to define technical and user experience requirements

  • Collaborate with scientific, regulatory, and security leaders to ensure compliance with quality, data governance, and privacy standards

  • Support go-to-market initiatives by providing strategic input to Product Marketing and Commercial teams

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the internal voice of the platform, communicating vision, progress, and decisions to senior stakeholders

  • Mentor and develop product management team members while advancing best practices across the organization

  • May directly manage individual contributors and influence cross-functional teams globally

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Science, or a related discipline (required)

  • Master’s degree preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 7+ years of product management experience, including end-to-end lifecycle ownership

  • Proven leadership experience in healthcare, clinical trials, life sciences, or other regulated technology environments

  • Demonstrated success developing product strategy, business cases, and launching enterprise-scale products

  • Experience working with platform products involving data technologies, APIs, databases, and interoperability

Technical & Domain Expertise

  • Foundational knowledge of data management principles, data privacy regulations, and enterprise platforms

  • Experience with quality management systems and global regulatory standards such as GCP and 21 CFR Part 11

  • For medical device–supporting platforms, familiarity with device security and regulatory pathways is highly desirable

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into actionable plans

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive and cross-functional audiences

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced, matrixed, global environments

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required
