Role Overview

Labcorp is seeking a Project Management Leader to join our Global Project Management group at the Madison, Wisconsin site. This role is responsible for leading a team of Project Managers supporting Bioanalytical LC-MS clients, ensuring seamless project delivery, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, collaborative leader, and problem solver with experience in pharma, biotech, or contract research organizations.

This position offers a hybrid working option and a unique opportunity to influence bioanalytical project operations on a global scale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Project Managers, providing guidance, coaching, and career development opportunities.

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

  • Serve as a trusted partner for issue resolution, client management, and continuous process improvement.

  • Collaborate with Bioanalytical leadership to drive operational initiatives, optimize workflows, and enhance service delivery.

  • Build strong internal networks across Commercial, Early Development, and Central Laboratory teams to align project goals and resolve challenges.

  • Promote best practices in project management, change management, and client communication.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management within pharma, biotech, or contract research industries.

  • Strong people leadership skills with experience managing client-facing teams.

  • Demonstrated ability in issue resolution, process improvement, and operational excellence.

  • Analytical or laboratory background with a commercial and financial awareness.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Degree in Life Sciences or related field; Project Management certification is desirable.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $125,000 – $150,000 per annum (based on experience and qualifications).
