Job Summary
Novartis is seeking a Scientific Communications Specialist to support its Scientific Writing team in Hyderabad. This role ensures seamless project management across medical education and publication content, helping the team deliver high-quality, compliant scientific outputs. If you have a background in life sciences and experience in medical communications or pharma project support, this opportunity could be the next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end project delivery for publications and medical education materials
Assist in developing scope of work, timelines, and scheduling meetings
Track deliverables, manage risks, and coordinate follow-ups
Support submission, compliance, and approval workflows in accordance with Novartis processes
Handle external vendor tracking (POs, approvals, goods receipt)
Update internal systems such as Datavision and compliance tools
Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to workflow improvement for scientific content development
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Science; postgraduate preferred
1–2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or medical communication industry
Prior exposure to project management tools or training
Strong organizational, tracking, and coordination skills
Familiarity with publication and compliance management systems (e.g., Datavision, FUSE) is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
