The Pharma Daily is inviting applications for the position of Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join a Medtech Data team in Bengaluru. This role is ideal for experienced professionals in healthcare analytics, SQL, Python, and medical device market research.
The selected candidate will work on healthcare data analysis, market research (primary and secondary), competitive intelligence, forecasting, and consulting assignments for global medical device organizations.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare or life sciences data analytics.
Strong hands-on experience in SQL and Python.
Experience working with healthcare, medtech, pharmacy, or claims datasets preferred.
Exposure to global healthcare markets is an advantage.
Educational Qualifications
B.E. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Medical Electronics, Pharmacy, or related Life Sciences discipline.
Certifications in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence are a plus.
Key Skills
Advanced SQL and Python skills.
Strong MS Excel knowledge.
Experience with R, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and presentation communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large healthcare and medical device datasets.
Conduct primary and secondary market research.
Perform competitive analysis and market forecasting.
Build and manage datasets for market modeling.
Maintain Medtech product catalogs.
Research new device markets, segmentation, and competitors.
Ensure data accuracy and generate actionable insights.
Collaborate with stakeholders to solve business challenges.
Work Schedule
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Hybrid work model in Bengaluru.
Working hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST.
