Role Overview

A leading global biopharmaceutical services organization is seeking a results-driven Territory Account Manager to execute strategic sales initiatives within the assigned Salt Lake City territory. This role is designed for high-performing pharmaceutical sales professionals with proven institutional selling experience and the ability to manage complex healthcare accounts.

The successful candidate will implement a comprehensive territory business plan, engage healthcare professionals across clinical and hospital environments, and drive measurable growth in market share and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and execute an integrated territory business plan targeting priority healthcare accounts.

  • Meet and exceed sales performance objectives within the assigned geographic territory.

  • Deliver compliant, high-impact product presentations to physicians, specialists, and institutional stakeholders in both office and hospital settings.

  • Utilize a structured customer engagement selling model to maximize account penetration and relationship strength.

  • Navigate complex institutional environments including hospitals and large healthcare systems.

  • Effectively manage approved promotional resources, sales tools, and CRM platforms to optimize engagement outcomes.

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships through strategic account management.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with a documented track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Demonstrated experience selling within institutional or hospital settings, including navigating complex account structures.

  • Strong understanding of territory management, sales analytics, and healthcare stakeholder mapping.

  • Ability to travel as required, including overnight and occasional weekend travel.

  • Must reside within the assigned territory or within defined geographic boundaries.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • 3+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in infectious disease, rare disease, immunology, or oncology.

  • Experience launching new therapies or managing specialty product portfolios.
