A leading multinational pharmaceutical organization, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, is hiring a Territory Manager to drive prescription demand, strengthen doctor engagement, and execute brand strategies within the assigned territory. This role is ideal for early-career pharmaceutical sales professionals looking to build a strong foundation in field sales and market development.

Job Overview

The Territory Manager will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies across Agra and surrounding areas. The role focuses on doctor engagement, prescription generation, product promotion, stockist management, and execution of CME activities to enhance brand visibility and business growth.

The position requires strong relationship-building skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to consistently achieve territory-level sales targets in a competitive pharmaceutical market.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Product Promotion

  • Promote assigned pharmaceutical products to doctors, hospitals, and healthcare professionals

  • Execute Product Management Team strategies for new product launches

  • Analyze market trends and gather prescription feedback

  • Monitor competitor activity and prescription patterns

Primary & Secondary Sales Monitoring

  • Track sales performance through regular visits to stockists and retail pharmacies

  • Ensure achievement of doctor-wise and product-wise sales targets

  • Participate in monthly review meetings for performance evaluation and expense management

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), and KELs (Key Business Leaders)

  • Conduct customer classification based on potential and plan meeting frequency accordingly

  • Track ROI per customer to enhance productivity and territory performance

CME & Brand Building Initiatives

  • Organize and coordinate Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs

  • Identify interest areas of key customers and hospitals

  • Strengthen company brand positioning within the territory

Data & Reporting

  • Update doctor, chemist, and Retail Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA) data using digital tools

  • Maintain accurate reporting on sales performance and market intelligence

Experience Level: Entry to Junior Level

Experience Required:

  • 6 months to 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical field sales

  • Prior experience in prescription (RX) product promotion preferred

  • Fresh science graduates with internship exposure in pharma sales may also be considered

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate with Science background (B.Sc., B.Pharm, or related field preferred)

Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical products and marketing concepts

  • Experience in executing sales and marketing strategies

  • Familiarity with digital sales reporting tools

  • Basic computer proficiency
