Position Summary
The Account Research Specialist will support the development of comprehensive market account profiles, including strategic comparisons, national and regional health plan profiles, and integrated delivery network/health system analyses based on client demand. This role will also involve various analytical tasks related to market research projects.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Profile Development:
Create and refine market account profiles through thorough secondary research.
Support team members in developing data collection tools for profiles.
Research & Analysis Support:
Draft and test online data collection tools.
Format surveys and discussion guides with input from the research project team.
Conduct basic statistical analysis as needed.
Development:
Champion organizational initiatives and engage in ongoing skill development.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Required:
B.S./B.A. in a relevant field.
Experience in project development and secondary research through employment, coursework, etc.
Skills & Abilities Requirements:
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Project management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
Team player with the ability to interact across all levels.
Capability to work independently when necessary.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Fluent in English (written and oral).
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH) preferred.
Working knowledge of statistical packages such as Q, SPSS, or SAS.
1-2 years of experience in a related field (business, health management, research).
