Associate Director – US Healthcare Delivery

Location: Navi Mumbai (Airoli), Maharashtra, India

Experience Required: 13+ years overall, with 8+ years in US Healthcare (preferably provider-side)
Educational Qualification: Graduate required; MBA/Postgraduate in Operations, Finance, Healthcare Management, International Business, or General Management preferred


Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – US Healthcare Delivery to lead and manage delivery operations for healthcare accounts, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and profitability. The ideal candidate will have extensive US healthcare experience, strong leadership skills, and expertise in managing large teams and complex delivery functions.

This role is ideal for a results-driven leader capable of managing operations, P&L, client relationships, and people while driving process improvements and high-quality service delivery.


Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and manage teams of 50+ professionals across delivery operations.

  • Drive team performance, set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and ensure adherence to defined SLA and quality metrics.

  • Mentor and develop talent, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals.

2. Delivery & Operations Management

  • Oversee all aspects of the delivery function, including operations, resource allocation, and process execution.

  • Ensure timely achievement of SLA/metrics by optimizing team resources and reviewing action plans.

  • Identify operational issues and implement course corrections to meet client expectations.

3. Financial Management & P&L Responsibility

  • Own profitability and operating efficiency for assigned accounts/functions.

  • Manage monthly invoicing, forecasting revenue, costs, and headcount for signed SOWs.

  • Oversee contract management, including scope creep and contract renewals.

4. Client Relationship & Value Delivery

  • Act as a strategic partner to clients, enhancing engagement and delivery beyond vendor expectations.

  • Manage Voice of Customer (VOC) and client satisfaction, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

  • Become an expert in healthcare and RCM processes, enabling meaningful value-driven conversations with clients.

5. Continuous Improvement & Governance

  • Monitor business metrics and trends to identify opportunities for process optimization and operational improvement.

  • Implement best practices to enhance delivery quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

  • Proactively respond to escalations and ensure root-cause resolution.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • Extensive US Healthcare experience, preferably on the provider side.

  • Proven experience in delivery management, client management, and P&L oversight.

  • Strong leadership experience in managing large, cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Flexible and adaptable with a strong willingness to learn and travel domestically or internationally.
