Associate Manager – Pharmacovigilance Case Processing | Bangalore, India

Elanco (NYSE: ELAN), a global leader in animal health, is seeking an experienced Associate Manager – PV Case Processing to join our Bangalore team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate assessment, management, and submission of adverse event reports in compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations.

Role Overview

As an Associate Manager in PV Case Processing, you will:

  • Assess, manage, and submit adverse event reports in the PV database in compliance with global regulations and timelines.

  • Identify and escalate potential issues in case processing to prevent delays in submission.

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality through validation against source documents and call notes.

  • Engage with external parties to obtain follow-up information as needed, ensuring timely and accurate case closure.

  • Support internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical concepts, and their relevance in adverse event case processing.

  • Experience in data entry, validation, and case review processes for adverse event reports.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently while following established guidelines and processes.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for ensuring completeness, accuracy, and quality of data.

  • Excellent communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with coworkers, management, and stakeholders.

  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving processes and willingness to learn new pharmacovigilance skills.
