Key Responsibilities
Medical Coding & Data Handling
Perform medical coding using standard classification systems.
Work with clinical records and assign appropriate codes.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of coded data.
Compliance & Standards
Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain data confidentiality.
Adhere to coding standards such as CPT and ICD-9.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
Revenue Cycle Support
Support medical billing and revenue cycle processes.
Assist in optimizing coding accuracy to prevent revenue leakage.
Work with EMR systems for documentation and coding.
Operational Support
Handle assigned coding tasks within timelines.
Maintain quality and productivity standards.
Collaborate with healthcare and clinical research teams when required.
