Job Summary:

As a Global Patient Safety (GPS) Training Senior Associate at Amgen, you will play a crucial role in executing training strategies across all GPS roles, ensuring that training, on-boarding, and off-boarding activities are effectively supported. You will also manage Role-Based Assignment Vehicle updates and contribute to various training initiatives, maintaining oversight of GPS training metrics and collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Support and Maintenance:

    • Support and maintain training plans for all GPS roles.

    • Assist in the development and maintenance of on-boarding and off-boarding plans for GPS.

    • Contribute to the maintenance of knowledge transfer documents and templates for business continuity and compliance.

  • Training and System Management:

    • Provide support for GPS training initiatives, including working with R&D training groups and quality teams.

    • Maintain GPS training metrics and oversee associated reporting.

    • Support the management of GPS controlled documents and managed information (outside of the controlled document repository).

    • Assist in the maintenance and review of GPS Job Descriptions (JD/CVs) and support SharePoint site management.

  • Compliance and Administrative Support:

    • Support PV Compliance-related activities and help ensure adherence to relevant regulatory and organizational standards.

    • Perform other administrative duties related to the position as needed, such as aiding with project activities and schedules.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and 1 to 3 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience OR

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience OR

  • Diploma and 7 to 9 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficient knowledge of training plans and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

  • Strong analytical skills for solving day-to-day problems.

  • Methodical approach to completing tasks and maintaining organization.

  • Solid written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly.

  • Ability to communicate across various organizational levels and listen actively.

  • Consistent approach to planning and organizing tasks.

  • Attention to detail, ensuring accurate and thorough work.

  • Adaptability and ability to learn new systems, processes, and tools quickly.

  • Organized, reliable, and responsive.
