Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of coders focused on IVR-related medical coding
Translate IVR procedures and diagnoses into standardized codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) for billing and compliance
Perform regular audits and quality reviews to ensure coding accuracy and adherence to industry standards
Mentor and train team members, providing guidance on complex coding scenarios
Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, compliance, and billing teams to maintain coding accuracy and documentation quality
Drive continuous improvement across coding processes and turnaround time
Preferred Qualifications
Coding certifications such as CPC, CCS, COC, or AHIMA-equivalent
Exposure to audit practices and coding compliance reviews
Strong analytical thinking, decision-making ability, and team leadership
