About the Role:
EY is seeking an accomplished IT Project Manager with deep domain expertise in Pharma, Life Sciences, and Health Research & Benchmarking. The ideal candidate will lead cutting-edge initiatives in HEOR, RWE, and HTA, while interfacing with global data sources like Flatiron and IQVIA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management in pharma and life sciences initiatives.

  • Manage projects involving:

    • Health Technology Assessment (HTA)

    • Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)

    • Real-World Evidence (RWE)

    • Comparative Effectiveness Research

    • Public Health Metrics

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—data scientists, IT teams, researchers, and compliance units.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and governance for RWD (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).

  • Translate research needs into technical/functional project requirements.

  • Interface with vendors and data providers (e.g., IQVIA, Flatiron, Optum).

  • Apply project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall to deliver quality results.

  • Maintain oversight on budgets, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

  • Produce clear documentation and lead stakeholder communications.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Computer Science, or related fields.

  • 10–15 years of experience in IT project management in pharma/healthcare research.

  • Proven expertise in HEOR, RWE, HTA, and comparative effectiveness research.

  • Familiarity with RWD platforms like Flatiron, IQVIA, or Optum.

  • Strong grasp of clinical data standards and regulatory frameworks.

  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to epidemiologists, public health researchers, or biostatisticians.

  • Experience with data integration and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in health research is a plus.
