Role Overview:
The Manager – Projects & Strategic Scientific Affairs will design, implement, and manage high-impact scientific strategies to support organizational objectives. This role requires strong collaboration with key opinion leaders (KOLs), medical associations, government and non-government stakeholders, and internal teams to drive innovative medical programs and digital outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute long-term and short-term scientific strategies aligned with the company’s vision.

  • Build and maintain relationships with over 300 KOLs across diverse therapeutic areas and support strategic engagement with top medical societies and associations.

  • Drive external advocacy initiatives with major governmental and non-governmental institutes to implement key corporate scientific projects.

  • Provide competitive intelligence and strategic insights to support the medical affairs team for new product introductions and lifecycle management.

  • Implement digital scientific outreach strategies across the organization’s platforms, including collaboration with internal digital teams.

  • Influence medico-marketing plans by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to marketing managers and business heads.

  • Lead innovative programs in collaboration with medical societies and leverage new media for differentiation in the marketplace.

  • Manage cross-functional collaborations with finance, legal, compliance, and procurement teams for contracts with KOLs, medical societies, and institutions.

  • Oversee publications, position papers, and clinical study dissemination in partnership with publishers and internal stakeholders.

  • Lead and coordinate participation in national medical conferences and signature programs across multiple affiliates and business units.

  • Provide on-demand support for strategic initiatives across focused therapeutic areas including Gastroenterology, Diabetes & Metabolic Diseases, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Adult Immunization, Insomnia, and Immunity-focused interventions.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical market trends and the ability to translate insights into strategic medico-marketing actions.

Qualifications:

  • MBBS, Pharmacy, or Science Graduate with MBA from a reputed institute.

  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in consulting or the pharmaceutical industry, preferably handling strategic digital or scientific corporate projects.

  • Prior experience in MNCs in roles such as Manager – Marketing Excellence, Group Product Manager, or Consultant is highly desirable.
