Job Overview
BioQuest Global is seeking qualified professionals for the role of Medical Writer / Senior Medical Writer to develop high-quality scientific and medical communication content aligned with client requirements. The role involves creating evidence-based medical deliverables, reviewing scientific literature, and supporting educational and promotional healthcare communication initiatives.
The selected candidate will collaborate with content leads and cross-functional teams to deliver scientifically accurate, regulatory-compliant, and engaging medical content across multiple formats while maintaining ethical writing standards and adherence to industry guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Develop scientific and medical communication deliverables based on client requirements.
Create medical education materials, including training manuals, review articles, product monographs, and CME slide decks.
Prepare newsletters, case reports, brand promotional materials, and patient education content.
Develop international speaker summaries and medical communication programs.
Review medical reports, complex scientific literature, and technical documentation.
Conduct literature searches and edit scientific content for accuracy and clarity.
Create storyboards and content for multimedia deliverables such as interactive modules, patient education films, e-detailing materials, websites, and animations.
Maintain standardized templates, formats, and styles to ensure compliance with regulatory, client, and industry requirements.
Perform content proofreading and quality checks for accuracy and consistency.
Ensure timely delivery of assigned projects within defined timelines.
Follow scientific writing ethics, including reference-backed writing and plagiarism-free documentation.
Educational Qualifications
M.Pharm, PhD, MBBS, BDS, or equivalent degree in Life Sciences or related fields.
Experience Required
Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in medical communication or medical writing.
Demonstrated experience in developing scientific and medical content for healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
Core Competencies and Skills
Strong knowledge of medical and allied healthcare domains.
In-depth understanding of multiple therapeutic areas.
Familiarity with medical writing guidelines and document structures, including Vancouver referencing style.
Experience searching scientific databases such as PubMed and ResearchGate.
Ability to interpret and present complex research data in a reader-friendly format.
Clear, concise, and scientifically accurate writing style with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital content tools.
