Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Associate II to support the implementation and ongoing management of investigator payment services for clinical studies. This role is pivotal in ensuring payment-related activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.


Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties:

  • Support operational activities for investigator payment services across projects or programs.

  • Handle vendor, site, and PI (Principal Investigator) record maintenance, bank setups, and user management.

  • Analyze study protocols, clinical trial agreements, and contract budgets to ensure accurate contract review and import.

  • Assist in payment transactions, invoicing, batch processing, settlements, and resolving queries as per SLA timelines.

  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to resolve payment-related issues using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Keep all stakeholders updated with timely project deliverables and participate in project team meetings from kickoff to closeout.

  • Escalate issues appropriately and contribute to decision-making discussions.

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service in all client interactions.

Process Adherence & Quality:

  • Contribute to enhancements in the Site and Patient Payments product roadmap.

  • Follow and help improve SOPs and department standards.

  • Review and suggest updates for SOPs related to payment processes.

Secondary Contributions:

  • Assist Payments Project Managers with deliverables.

  • Explore continuous improvement opportunities within the department.

  • Participate in internal training sessions to stay current with organizational practices.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Technology/Software Development preferred.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in investigator payments or equivalent operations role.

  • Preferred background in invoice processing, transaction handling, or clinical trial research.

  • Familiarity with contract accuracy and client satisfaction metrics.


Skills Required:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Capable of multi-tasking, working independently and collaboratively, and managing shifting priorities with accuracy.

  • Professional, solution-oriented attitude.
