Position: Program/Project Manager
Location: Global, Parexel Worldwide D&T (Digital & Technology)

Parexel seeks an experienced Program/Project Manager to deliver cutting-edge, value-added services by integrating computer technologies, data analysis, and project management methodologies. This role focuses on understanding business needs, providing technical leadership, and delivering high-quality solutions to achieve corporate goals.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Business Collaboration: Build strong relationships with Parexel business units and client IT teams to understand and address business requirements.
  • Program/Project Management Leadership:
    • Lead globally distributed, cross-functional teams in planning and executing business programs, processes, and technologies.
    • Ensure projects align with corporate objectives and deliver value-added solutions.
    • Balance planning and execution while maintaining compliance with D&T and Parexel standards.
  • Team and Process Leadership:
    • Act as a leader and mentor for D&T and business teams, promoting synergy and collaboration.
    • Enhance project management methodologies and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Technology Evaluation and Standardization:
    • Evaluate and transition new technologies into the production environment.
    • Promote integration and standardization of computing services across global locations.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain proper documentation to meet regulatory and internal standards.
    • Use quantitative metrics and milestones to communicate project status and issues.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute structured project plans, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Monitor and control project/program timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Ensure proper risk tracking, issue escalation, and resolution.
  • Promote collective learning and continuous development within the Program & Account Management Team.
  • Define and maintain worldwide operating procedures and standards in collaboration with D&T Operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, MS Project). Certifications in Microsoft or similar tools are a plus.
  • Familiarity with system analysis and project management methodologies.
  • Strong organizational skills with a structured approach to varied assignments.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, multi-tasking environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences, including facilitation, presentation, and negotiation.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to quickly understand technologies and business problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams.

Education and Language Proficiency

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written).

Experience

  • 1+ years of project leadership and management experience in an international setting.
  • Familiarity with program and project management tools and methodologies.
  • Background in functional areas such as human resources, finance, marketing, clinical studies, or system analysis.
