Job Overview

Sanofi is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Specialist – Medical Affairs (Event Logistics) to join the Sanofi Global Hub in Hyderabad. This role plays a critical part in planning, coordinating, and executing medical and scientific events that support Sanofi’s global Medical Affairs strategy across specialty care, vaccines, general medicines, and R&D functions.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences event management, strong project coordination skills, and a compliance-focused mindset to ensure high-quality execution of in-person, hybrid, and virtual medical events.

Sanofi Global Hub is a strategic internal resource organization based in India, designed to centralize and streamline global operations supporting Medical, HEVA, Commercial, and Digital teams. The Hub acts as a trusted partner for tactical execution while ensuring efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance across global activities.


Key Responsibilities

Event Project Management

  • Manage end-to-end medical event logistics in a structured project management framework, including event initiation, execution, and closure.

  • Lead event kick-off meetings to align all stakeholders, including event requestors, medical engagement teams, logistics agencies, and hospitality partners.

  • Conduct regular coordination meetings to ensure timelines, deliverables, and expectations are met.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

  • Partner closely with internal Medical Affairs teams, event engagement teams, logistics agencies, and hospitality service providers to deliver a seamless event experience.

  • Provide strategic input on venue and site selection aligned with event objectives and compliance requirements.

  • Ensure consistent and professional company representation across all events.

Event Execution & On-site Management

  • Oversee on-site event management, including hybrid and virtual meeting support, audiovisual coordination, and technical troubleshooting.

  • Manage event setup on Sanofi’s Events & Congresses platform (SpotMe), including attendee registration and data management.

  • Coordinate hotel accommodations, transportation, catering, speaker logistics, off-site venues, and related services either directly or via third-party vendors.

Compliance, Quality & Reporting

  • Ensure strict adherence to Sanofi policies, particularly transparency, compliance, and governance standards.

  • Track and report KPIs and metrics to drive cost efficiencies, process synergies, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide analytical and operational support to ensure high-quality delivery of all assigned events.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (required).

  • 1.5 to 3 years of experience in event planning or project coordination, preferably within pharmaceuticals or life sciences.

  • Direct experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sector.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
