Job Summary
We are hiring a Senior Data Retrieval Specialist for our Research & Development division in Mumbai, India. The role focuses on retrieving high-quality data from global safety databases and associated systems, supporting various functions in Global Pharmacovigilance (GPV). Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in safety database retrieval within the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in SQL programming and validated query development.
Key Responsibilities
Retrieve safety data from the Global Safety Database and related systems.
Support Global Pharmacovigilance functions by providing accurate safety data reports as per required quality, format, and timelines.
Execute validated pre-defined queries (e.g., PSUR listings) and develop customized ad hoc queries when necessary.
Ensure all reports adhere to applicable guidelines and company SOPs.
Collaborate with other teams under supervision and guidance to ensure consistent data output quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree in IT, Documentation Sciences, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in data retrieval from safety databases in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong IT background with proven validation experience in the pharma sector.
Proficiency in SQL programming (mandatory).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
Familiarity with ISOtrain-based training systems preferred.
