Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Retrieval Specialist to support global pharmacovigilance operations through high-quality safety data extraction from validated safety databases. This is a critical role within the GPV team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of safety reports, PSUR listings, and ad hoc data requests using advanced SQL programming skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Retrieve safety data from global safety databases in compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
Generate validated queries (e.g., PSUR listings) and develop customized ad hoc reports as needed.
Deliver data in the required format, quality, and timelines to cross-functional stakeholders.
Ensure alignment with internal safety and compliance protocols.
Collaborate with pharmacovigilance teams globally for business and operational support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, documentation sciences, or equivalent technical discipline.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in safety database querying and data retrieval.
Strong command of SQL and data programming for pharmacovigilance systems.
Prior experience with validated pharma systems and regulatory reporting tools.
IT experience within the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (German is a plus).
Trained in compliance platforms such as ISOtrain.
