This job description is for the role of Amyloidosis Multi-disciplinary Specialist (AMS) at Pfizer, targeting healthcare providers (HCPs) in areas such as hematology/oncology, neurology, primary care, and cardiology. The focus is on raising awareness and educating about ATTR-CM (Amyloid Transthyretin Cardiomyopathy) and related diseases, and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business and patient recognition through various territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Planning & Collaboration: Develop territory business plans, prioritize customer opportunities, and maintain active customer profiles to optimize sales performance.
  • Hybrid Execution: Utilize advanced selling skills to tailor brand messaging, educate on ATTR-CM disease, diagnostic procedures, and the Vyndamax clinical profile, and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Coordination: Work collaboratively with internal teams and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to accelerate approaches that meet customer needs.
  • Business Acumen: Gather customer insights, monitor changing market dynamics, and prioritize resources for effective decision-making.
  • Professional Development: Pursue learning opportunities and elevate individual capabilities.
  • Culture & Values: Comply with company policies and contribute valuable insights to colleagues while fostering an environment of collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Must-Have:
    • 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales.
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven ability to formulate, develop, and execute territory business plans.
    • Strong analytical skills and experience using market/customer insights to inform sales planning.
    • A history of collaboration and adherence to company policies.
  • Nice-to-Have:
    • Rare disease and/or specialty experience (e.g., cardiology, hematology-oncology, neurology).
    • Product launch experience.
    • Experience in hospital sales and calling on academic centers/hospital systems.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to travel domestically, with some overnight stays.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: Ranges from $96,700 to $217,000.
  • Incentives: Quarterly sales incentive bonus.
  • Benefits: Includes 401(k), health benefits, paid leave, and other comprehensive programs.

  • Location: San Francisco and Bay Area preferred.
  • Relocation Assistance: Available based on eligibility.
