We are seeking a Senior Statistician I with academic qualifications and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You will work independently on standard activities and under the guidance of a more experienced statistician for more complex studies and analytical work.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Statistician I, you will:

  • Statistical Support: Provide independent statistical support for study design and interpretation of data.

  • Study Design: Undertake the design and analysis of complex studies under guidance.

  • Statistical Analysis Plans: Develop Statistical Analysis Plans for study and project delivery.

  • Data Production: Produce analysis, supporting graphics, and tables for standard studies.

  • Methodology Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of statistical methodologies and provide practical solutions to problems.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Education: MSc/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics (with a substantial statistical component), or a recognized equivalent.

  • Programming Skills: Competent in statistical programming (SAS and R).

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with key technical and regulatory requirements.

  • Experience: Background in designing, analyzing, and reporting preclinical or clinical studies in multiple settings.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to apply statistical expertise to real-world problems with a focus on quality.
