Job Title: Calibration and Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

The role involves calibrating and maintaining assigned equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with departmental and organizational guidelines, processes, and procedures. The goal is to maintain high-quality results and adhere to established timelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to good laboratory practices at all times in the QC laboratory.
Perform daily calibrations of instruments and equipment.
Issue working standards according to user requirements.
Conduct calibration and performance verification of analytical instruments and equipment per the master schedule.
Perform qualification of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Maintain laboratory analytical standards according to established procedures.
Manage and deactivate samples following laid-down procedures.
Follow good documentation practices within the laboratory.
Ensure laboratory cleanliness and organization.
Execute tasks through LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) as applicable.
Undertake additional assignments as directed by higher management.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in any branch of science.
Experience: 6-10 years in a relevant field.

Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of sterile industry processes, regulations, and trends.
- Experience in a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) environment with a focus on Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Behavioral Skills:
- Effective communication with a performance-oriented mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to consistently strive for high standards and demonstrate flexibility in working shifts.
- Understanding of team dynamics and collaborative work.
