Job Overview

ClinChoice, a global full-service CRO, is seeking a Senior RWE Statistician Consultant with advanced R programming skills to support real-world evidence (RWE) research initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in RWE study design, statistical modeling, and data analysis who can work independently while collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.

The position focuses on integrating real-world data (RWD), epidemiological methods, and advanced analytics to generate actionable insights that support drug development, regulatory decisions, and clinical research strategies.


Key Responsibilities

RWE & Statistical Analysis

  • Design and develop study protocols, statistical analysis plans (SAPs), and programming deliverables including analysis-ready datasets, tables, and figures.

  • Develop complex R programs for claims data, electronic health records (EHRs), and other real-world datasets.

  • Conduct exploratory data analyses, causal inference, comparative effectiveness, and time-to-event analyses.

  • Apply AI/ML methodologies to support advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Project Contribution & Collaboration

  • Contribute to RWE projects, including disease identification, patient stratification, progression modeling, and simulations.

  • Collaborate effectively with scientists, principals, research analysts, and other stakeholders.

  • Analyze urgent requests from internal and external stakeholders and deliver timely results.

  • Participate in innovation and process improvement initiatives within the RWE team.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure all research activities comply with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards.

  • Maintain thorough documentation and reproducibility of RWE programming workflows.

  • Follow departmental and company training, reporting, and operational processes.


Required Qualifications

  • PhD in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Outcomes, or related quantitative field.

  • Extensive hands-on experience in real-world evidence studies, including study design, data assessment, programming, and results interpretation.

  • Expert proficiency in R and SQL, with experience in statistical modeling and data visualization.

  • Strong understanding of RWE methodologies, causal inference, and advanced analytics.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering RWE and data science projects.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in biopharmaceutical companies, RWE consulting, or healthcare research organizations.

  • Exposure to predictive modeling, machine learning, or deep learning applications in clinical research.

  • Familiarity with drug development and clinical trial processes, particularly in oncology, immunology, or neuroscience.
