Role Overview

GE Healthcare, a global leader in medical technology and digital healthcare solutions, is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist for the Women’s Health Ultrasound segment. The role focuses on clinical education, training, demonstration management, and driving evidence-based practices to enhance customer outcomes. This position supports the customer experience and commercial teams from pre-sale through post-implementation, ensuring optimal technical and clinical competency, image quality, workflow efficiency, and protocol management.

The incumbent will work closely with the Local Customer Team (LCT) and regional teams, contributing to clinical adoption, customer satisfaction, and product excellence across Women’s Health Ultrasound solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical and technical leadership during the sales process by demonstrating Women’s Health Ultrasound products, highlighting capabilities, benefits, and applications.

  • Plan, schedule, and execute objective-based system training for customers, channel partners, and sales teams, with monitoring and reporting of training outcomes.

  • Provide product training on equipment usage, workflow optimization, and image acquisition techniques.

  • Monitor customer installations to ensure proper use, clinical satisfaction, and workflow efficiency.

  • Support trade shows, workshops, webinars, and professional conferences by conducting product demonstrations and clinical training sessions.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop clinical strategies, promotional campaigns, and adoption plans for new product introductions (NPI).

  • Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the region and train sales and dealer teams on clinical applications.

  • Analyze competitive accounts and provide market intelligence to inform business strategy.

  • Maintain accurate pre- and post-training documentation in accordance with global compliance standards.

  • Act as the focal point for specialty training requests, customer satisfaction issues, and escalations, ensuring resolution and effective follow-up.

  • Promote hybrid training delivery models and continuously optimize educational programs for customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ultrasound applications within multinational companies.

  • Clinical experience in Fetal Medicine, OB/GYN, General Imaging, Vascular Sonography, and Cardiology.

  • Technical proficiency in ultrasound systems, including 2D, Doppler, color flow imaging, and experience with 3D/4D imaging.

  • Applicable industry certifications in ultrasound or clinical imaging are desirable.

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% within and outside the assigned geographic region.
