Director, Clinical Development – Hematology/Oncology
Location: Remote (USA) | Sites: Palo Alto, CA; Philadelphia, PA

This remote leadership role offers the opportunity to shape oncology drug development strategy and lead clinical programs from early-phase trials to regulatory filings. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement clinical trial strategies for investigational and marketed oncology drugs
Lead clinical study design, execution, data analysis, and interpretation
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory, Commercial, and Business Development teams
Monitor and oversee the conduct of clinical trials ensuring quality and compliance
Contribute to regulatory filings (IND, NDA, MAA) and clinical study reports
Provide scientific input for clinical documents and interactions with global regulatory authorities
Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and academic institutions to enhance clinical plans
Represent Jazz in medical and business development discussions
Evaluate licensing opportunities from a clinical perspective
Ensure timely evaluation and reporting of drug safety signals
Required Skills & Qualifications:
MD, or MD/PhD with 3–5 years’ experience in oncology clinical development
Proven track record in designing and leading oncology clinical trials in the pharma industry
Board certification in Oncology (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA)
Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
Scientific publication record in oncology/hematology (preferred)
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively
Up to 20-30% travel required
